To unlock the Rugby Player, the player must play as the squirrel and collect 4 nuts then find a white rugby ball (looks like a white nut) on top of a tree. The player cannot obtain this mascot by winning it in the prize machine, due to the fact that it is a Secret Mascot. This article/section may contain spoilers. The Rugby Player traverses, it is occupied by grunts and leaves behind a continuous trail of yellow daffodils. Like most of the British mascots, the Rugby Player changes the setting into the UK terrain. He has brown hair and appears to be holding a white rugby ball in his left hand. He wears long red socks, rugby boots, a red shirt and white shorts. The Festive Chicken one out of the three other Chickens you can play as in Crossy Road, with the other Chickens being the original Chicken and the Fortune Chicken.The Rugby Player looks like a generic rugby player in real life. You can unlock Gifty with this character by encountering a Christmas tree in a very large area of land.įestive Chicken is the only animal with a hat on, the other being Hipster Whale. Pre-January 2015, you could get the Festive Chicken for free. If you see this and then end the run, you will unlock the character Gifty, which is one of the secret characters you can unlock in Crossy Road.Īs of now, you can unlock Festive Chicken from the Prize Machine or by paying $0.99 US money. Sometimes, when you encounter a very large area of land, you will see a Christmas tree playing music and throwing presents around itself. And just like the original Chicken, it makes cluck sounds when moving, and white feathers appear when you hit a car. When you play as the Festive Chicken, instead of grass, it is replaced with snow and Christmasy/Wintery items. The Festive Chicken looks exactly like the original Chicken, except the only difference in appearance is the Christmas hat on its head. The Festive Chicken is based off of the original Chicken, and was also released in the Christmas update of Crossy Road. In the character selection page, it is the second character you see.
